As an avid player, I have found out a number of important lessons while wagering over the the last couple of years. It does not matter if you like to play at the land based’ type or the many internet casinos. Below are my golden protocols of gaming, most of which might be deemed clear thinking, but if adhered to they will help you go a long distance to leaving with a sense of enjoyment.
Rule 1: Go to a casino with a set number that you are willing and are able to manage to spend – How much would you pay for an evening out on diner, beers, entrance charges and tips? This is an excellent sum to use.
Rule 2: Do not carry your credit card out with you – or any other way of drawing cash out. Do not be concerned about money for the taxi if you throw away it all; most taxi drivers, notably the taxis hailed at casinos, will drive you to your apartment and shall be more than happy to wait for the cash when you get back.
Rule 3: Stick to your set cap. I always think of what I’d want to buy if I profit. The previous time I was able to go, I decided I’d would like to buy a new digital SLR camera which retailed at $400, so that was my set cap. As soon as I surpassed that figure, I quit. Just stop. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself tells you the next number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and say goodbye. Depart safe in the knowledge that you will be going into town and acquiring a nice new toy!
Rule 4: Have fun. When you’re "energetic" you usually will profit. It’s a certainty. I do not understand why, but it just is. As soon as it turns into a chore, or you are only playing to make cash you have lost, you will exhaust more. When you are profiting, having a great experience with your buddies, or your significant other, you usually will gain even more.
